It couldn't happen to a nicer person!
I especially like the way that, toward the end, Maher springs a little trap on Dinesh and the poor besotted fool can only stammer and protest... A Thing of Beauty that will be my Joy Forever!
At one point when Dinesh was trying to redefine and parse words, Maher simply asks him the same question that I've asked Eric in many forms: "How far did you have to go up your ass to pull that out of it?"

Not posting anything new, just running out of room and so forth...
Thinking about discontinuing this blog, but come to think of it, it seems to be doing that to itself, so maybe I'll just treat it like a slowly dying relative and humor it for as long as it's here...

Kalaam is dead, we should not mourn
Nor heap it with deserving scorn
While believers thought it heaven sent
It never was an argument
More of a mixture of truth and lies
A statement of faith in thin disguise
By force of logic fast undone
(It's flaws right there in premise one)
By words alone it conjured forth
The building blocks of matter
One must, in order to believe that
Be madder than a hatter

Incidentally as to the last post, just wanted to re-iterate that you can access comments over the 200 count by pressing the very small and hard to notice link that says 'load more' near the bottom of the page.
